Raster Weapons
Canvas 7 comes with many of the image manipulation tools that users of Photoshop
are familiar with, including; brush, pencil, eraser, marker, bucket, blend,
rubber stamp, dodge, burn and more. Double clicking on one brings up a palette
to edit the tool. You can use one of the preset brushes or create one of
your own using any Canvas tool, including the bezier tools. These tool are
very comparable to those found in Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.

Canvas also comes with a number of filter effects,
including embossing, solarizing, outlining, ripple, twirling,
spherizing and more. Canvas can also take advantage of
all 3rd party (Photoshop compatible) filters
available. After revamping the bitmap graphic’s engine,
designers can easily manage objects and layers using
the ‘Document Manager’ palette. Like Photoshop, Canvas
also supports channels. In fact, Canvas uses up to 24
channels, these include 3 types; color, alpha and masks.
